• Oversee and manage the audit team during audits
• Plan and schedule audits in accordance with professional standards
• Guide and support your audit team members
• Review and analyse financial statements
• Communicate audit findings
• Liaise with clients to understand their business processes
• Develop recommendations for improving the financial and operational performance of clients
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current accounting and audit regulations

Profile

The successful Audit Assistant Manager should have:

• A professional qualification in accounting or finance (ACA/ACCA)
• Proven experience in a similar audit role within the professional services industry (UK experience is required)
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A detail-oriented approach to work
