Your new school

Hays Education are currently recruiting reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work at schools across Rotherham. These jobs are mainly based in Key Stage 2 but can also be in Key Stage 1. Hays Education has a commitment with local schools in Rotherham to get trusted and reliable teachers of KS2 who will work in long-term jobs as well as day-to-day supply jobs. This can be both full time or part-time to suit the correct teachers.

Your new role

This role can be on a full-time basis and will be suited to those who have a passion for teaching in KS2. The schools we work with will be looking for someone with strong behaviour management skills as the classes may have a mixture of varying abilities; the role is open to teachers who hold ECT status as well as more experienced primary school teachers. The successful candidate will have routine day-to-day classroom responsibilities along with working with other teachers in the year to form a collaborative team. Our placements can be long term as well as providing day-to-day supply support across Rotherham and the wider South Yorkshire area.

What you\'ll need to succeed

• You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years. This can be as part of a training course such as a PGCE/SCITT training.
• Experience in teaching Key Stage 2 is preferred, but ideally you will have worked within a primary school.
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Have completed a PGCE as well as Qualified Teacher Status.
• Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
