Job Opportunity: Experienced Quantity Surveyor Wanted

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland

Fit out experience required

A reputable construction company is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Construction and Fit Out Department. In this role, you'll support our Senior Team across various projects, contributing your expertise in interpreting designs, preparing estimates, and managing costs.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret designs and tender documentation
• Prepare commercially viable tender estimates
• Develop positive relationships with key stakeholders
• Manage project costs and cash flow
• Procure sub-contractors and oversee contract adherence
• Coordinate contractual claims or disputes
• Conduct procurement management for optimal purchasing

Requirements:

• Quantity Surveying degree or HNC qualification
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience
• Knowledge of Building Contracting marketplace
• Experience with NEC Contracts
• Commercial acumen and profitability focus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in office applications and project management software
• Flexibility for travel within the UK & Ireland

Desirable Criteria:

• 5+ years in Main Contracting environment
