Job description

The Global Brand Experience Design Lead is instrumental in translating the brand’s vision into tangible design solutions. This role brings to life the brands strategic vision through the creation of design assets, across all touch-points, that meet the business objectives and encapsulates the brand’s ethos. What you will be doing: Design: Work closely with the Global Head of BXD (Category) to understand and internalise the overarching design vision, breaking it down into actionable strategies for the team. Team Leadership: Lead, guide and mentor the design team in the creation and execution of design projects. Project Management: Ensure all design projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet both aesthetic and business objectives. Design Excellence: Champion design best practices, ensuring that outputs are not only visually compelling but also fit for purpose. Lead operational approach to maximise efficiencies and creative output (agency vs in house, combination of both, agile design process) Collaboration: Work in tandem with external suppliers and cross-functional teams, providing them with the necessary design support and insights. Feedback Mechanism: Regularly review and provide constructive feedback on design outputs, fostering an environment of continuous improvement. Stay Updated: Keep abreast with the latest design trends and technologies, sharing insights and knowledge with the team. Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders, ensuring that design needs and objectives are clearly communicated and understood. What we are looking for: About 8+ years of design experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior or leadership role in a corporate design setting or a respected design agency. Experience with global brands is crucial, showcasing the ability to manage and adapt designs for varied markets and audiences. Agency or renowned brand experience is preferred, indicating versatility in design approach and client management. Impressive portfolio that demonstrates deep design knowledge, creativity, and attention to detail. Strong leadership skills with a track record of guiding and motivating design teams. Outstanding communication skills, adept at presenting ideas and designs to various stakeholders.
