Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Commercial Manager to work on their newly awarded contract in the Penrhyndeudraeth area

For the successful Commercial Manager our client is offering:

• Day shifts
• Permanent role
• Pension with up to 8% contribution from the client
• 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
• Accommodation provided
• Based on-site full-time

The Role - Commercial Manager:

• To take responsibility for the commercial function on a project or section of a project
• Submit and secure applications to maximise cash income
• Prepare or approve subcontractor payments to ensure compliance with terms
• Produce accurate and timely forecasts and monthly reports to demonstrate contract performance
• Monitor commercial and contract performance to ensure prompt and focussed corrective action
• Systematically review and validate incoming information
• Lead regular commercial meetings internally or with client

What our client is looking for in a Commercial Manager

• Previous experience of managing a commercial team on large-scale infrastructure projects - ESSENTIAL
• A full appreciation of commercial arrangements with the supply chain
• Background in Civil Engineering/Construction - ESSENTIAL
• Hold a current UK Driving Licence
• Have suitable PC Skills using Microsoft office software
