WDE Recruitment are looking to recruit Collection & Delivery Drivers for our blue-chip client based in Gloucester. Our Client are one of the largest Courier and parcel companies in the UK.

Salary £11.93 + £1.44 holiday pay = £13.37 per hour
AD Hoc position
Immediate Start
Role: Van Driver
Responsibilities
• Driving a long wheel-based van/Sprinter van delivering between 35 - 40 drops per day in your first week, increasing week on week thereafter to local residential and commercial properties.
• Adhering to standard work processes.
• Following company procedures and workplace manuals
• The depot covers all of Gloucester postal area so good geographical knowledge and good driving ability is an advantage.
• Following 100% to sequence the route on the PDA.
Driver Essentials
• A full and valid Cat B Driving licence (manual licence)
• Must have held driving licence for minimum of 1 year
• WDE are looking for candidates with a good work ethic and organisational skills, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative.
• Experience of driving a 3.5t van preferred.
• You must have good people skills that are with a friendly approach
• Previous multi-drop experience is preferred but not essential.
• A maximum of 6 points on your licence
• You must be physically fit to be able to manually load parcels into a van (up to 30kg)
• You must be able to provide various proof of identity for vetting checks.
