We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Basingstoke, Hampshire for a Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
This is ideally a full time position working 40 hours per week with a shared Saturday morning rota. There are no OOH. Part time applications apply.

- Team: 2 Vets and nursing team.

The role
- Small Animal Senior role.
- Full time working 40 hours per week with a shared Saturday morning rota. There are no OOH,
- The role will involve a mixture of carrying out consultations and surgeries. A Vet with a medical or surgical bias would be advantageous and supported but not essential to the role.
- The Vet will be working alongside 2 Vets and a supportive nursing team. The role offers a great opportunity for someone who is ready for a new challenge and wants to take a step up into a role with more responsibility. Support and encouragement would be provided by the practice.
- Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance. EG Rota to work around the school run / holidays /lifestyle.
- The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
- The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

- The Vet will be able to organise their own time well and remain calm under pressure.

- Salary: Up to £50,000 pro rata per annum commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays increasing with service and birthday off
