SEN Teaching Assistant | Croydon, CR0 | £85-£105 per day | Long-term to Permanent | ASAP

LTF Recruitment are currently working with a wonderful, inclusive primary school in East Croydon. The school are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant, with SEN experience, to provide 1:1 support to a child in the school's Year 4 class with ASD. The school are looking for some to working with them providing direction and attentive support, the ideal candidate will be a patient, calm, and nurturing support for the children.

As a Teaching Assistant your duties will include:

• Working alongside and providing additional support to year 4 child
• Liaising with the class teacher and school SENCO around progress of pupils.
• Running phonics lessons to children working below age expected levels.
• Working 1:1 with children who have ASD
• Being a positive member of the school staff and promoting their values

The school are looking for candidates who:

• Hold a relevant degree or TA qualification.
• Have experience working with children within a school.
• Can adapt approach to meet learner's needs.
