Job description
Responsibilities:
- Provide a wide range of hair styling services to clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling
- Stay up-to-date with current hair trends and techniques
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend appropriate services
- Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
- Provide barbering services, including beard trims and shaves (Barbering)
- Assist with front desk duties, such as scheduling appointments and handling payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service to create a positive salon experience
- Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on techniques and best practices
- Assist with store management tasks as needed
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Proficient in a wide range of hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling
- Experience in barbering services, including beard trims and shaves
- Ability to upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
- Familiarity with front desk duties, such as scheduling appointments and handling payments
- Ability to mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on techniques and best practices

There is currently no hairdressing salon in Bar Hill. Bar Hill has over 5000 residents. We will be the only one.
Hairdressers / Barbers will be working on a self employed basis. Percentage to be discussed at interview.
Experience:
Stylist: 3 years (preferred)
Hairdressing: 3 years (preferred)
Qualifications:
Hairdressing NVQ/SVQ Level 2 (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
