Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Web Developer to join my clients growing team in Braintree, Essex!

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 plus excellent benefits.

Please note that this is not a hybrid / remote position and the client is only looking for candidates who reside within a commutable location to their offices in Braintree, Essex.

The Role

• To develop and support of internal and external websites and web-based applications
• Help design and create systems, algorithms and databases
• Collaborate with other developers to design and implement new features
• Write clean, maintainable code that is easy to understand and modify
• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development

Essential Skills

• PHP – Demonstrable knowledge of programming including OOP
• MySQL – Demonstrable knowledge of database design and normalisation
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript / jQuery

Desirable Skills

• Photoshop
• Prestashop
• Windows admin
• Azure Admin
• Apache admin
• API integration
• Bootstrap
