Your new role As Senior CNC Programmer you will deliver high-quality programs within specified timelines, adhering to best practices and utilizing supplied drawings, CAD files and specifications. Work closely with Additive Manufacturing Engineers to develop machining strategies to maximise throughout of printing times and resolve technical issues. Troubleshoot and resolve machining problems. Work closely with operator to set up and prove out first off parts. Oversee and provide technical support to machinists and operators on the factory floor. Work with production schedulers to ensure critical milestones are met in a fast paced environment with tight delivery dates. Develop machining fixtures for complex aerospace, F1 and space components. Program CNC equipment on-line and off-line. Quote machining work for internal and external customers. Maintain accurate and legible records of production work and results. Uphold a high degree of a work-area cleanliness (daily and weekly) and organization.
Work with other departments to improve operating efficiency, minimise waste and help with system improvements.
What you\'ll need to succeed Ideally you will have 6+ years of 5 axis CNC programming experience in turbo machinery components. HND preferable but not essential. Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail and problem solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork skills as well as technical skills in GD&T & blueprints. Experience of programme validation
