Job description
This role has a starting salary of £27,897 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.
This is a 18-month fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity.
We are excited to be hiring a new Senior Team Administrator to join our fantastic Children's Information Governance Team. The team is based in Quadrant Court and we have a mix of home working and office working, at present we are required to be in the office for 2 days a week.

About the Team
Our team handle a wide variety of information requests, such as Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests under the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR and other Information Sharing Requests, as well as providing advice, training and guidance to staff across the Children's, Families, Life Long Learning Directorate together with managing customer expectations.
About the Role
Your role will involve being the first point of contact for the team, you will log requests using Icase, liaise with professionals both within Social Care and with other external agencies; keep track of information, update and maintain spreadsheets and databases; take meeting notes and subsequently distribute to involved parties, liaise with requestors. This is a busy role where no two days are the same.
You will be highly organised and willing to take responsibility and use initiative; and comfortable in setting your own priorities and meeting deadlines. You will make sure that everything is in place to guarantee that all runs smoothly for the processes and team you support.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential along with a high level of written and oral communication skills. You will have experience of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

A solid background in administration in a busy office environment.
Excellent time management skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Experience of managing workflow and/or leading more junior staff.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Is confident, organised and able to implement a proactive approach to your work.
Excellent IT skills and is proficient in using Microsoft Office and an understanding of UK GDPR.
