JOB TITLE: Soft Services Team Lead

LOCATION: Jackson Square Shopping Centre – Bishop’s Stortford

PAY RATE: £15.00 per hour

REPORTING TO: Soft Services Manager

SHIFT PATTERN: Minimum of 45hrs per week pattern with a mixture of dayshifts & nightshifts, across weekdays and weekends.

Job Objective & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a dual officers/cleaners to work at Jackson Square, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer services to all visitors to our site. You will be key in securing the premises and personnel on site by patrolling, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, with making sure our customers feel safe by showing presence when on mall duties. Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures. You will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning team on site, ensuring that the cleaning specifications are adhered to, for delivering high levels of cleaning services to our client & customers, alongside security & customer service duties.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Your duties will involve providing the dual role services of security & cleaning

• Keeping the ABM site safe, clean & welcoming towards our client & customers
• Being an excellent ABM brand ambassador

Person Specification:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organisational and influencing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail within both security & cleaning responsibilities.
• Dual service experience within the retail or similar environment (desirable)
• SIA Door Supervisor License (Required)
• SIA CCTV License (Required)

• First Aid at work (desirable)
• Able to work well and build rapport with customers & clients.
• IT literacy skills.
• Articulate and able to communicate effectively
• Be able to work as part of a team.

• Must be able to work on own initiative with a proactive and flexible attitude.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• The ability to be flexible to meet the needs and demands of the role & the business.
