Job description
What you will do in your working day
- To understand and adhere to Health and Safety policies & procedures
- To understand organisational purpose, activities, aims, values, vision for the future, resources.
- To understand the Group Treasury Policy in order to manage risk.
- To assist in the company tracking of receipts and expenditure on a daily basis.
- To assist in the monitoring of bank account balances identifying overdrawn accounts.
- To assist in confirmations of the Money Market and FX transactions
- To support in the reconciliation review of interest received and money market nominal ledger accounts on Connect Business relating to Treasury transactions.
- To maintain Money Market Register to ensure deposits are recorded on the relevant deal register once processed
- To collate overseas cash balances reports ensuring all overseas cash balances are received.
- To assist preparation of the Group Cash position on weekly basis for Group Board.
- Preparation of the Bank share loans repayments.
To assist in liaising with the external parties in regards share loan repayments requirements. - To collate overseas Group monthly cashflow reports ensuring all reports are received and completed in full by the deadline
Day to day communication the relevant finance teams (UK and Overseas). - Achieve the required levels of competence through the achievement of required qualifications and in-house training and the development of effective working relationships with colleagues in other departments.
The training you will be getting
Business administrator level 3
This training will be delivered in partnership with The Appentice Academy through virtual training one day per week.
Completion of this apprenticeship will award you with a nationally recognised qualification as well as the opportunity to progress to higher level qualifications and apply for industry body membership.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
It is expected that upon completion apprentices will have the possibility to progress into full-time employment with the possibility to continue their professional development through futher training/apprenticeships.
