Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: England, East Midlands, Northamptonshire

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours

Secondary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

Job Description

Job Duties:

• Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a secondary school setting
• Assisting in the implementation of individual education plans
• Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
• Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN
• Helping students to develop their social and communication skills

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working with children
• No formal teaching qualifications required

Education:

No specific educational requirements

Experience:

Prior experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is beneficial

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong teamwork skills
• Patience and empathy
• Passionate about supporting students with SEN

Preferred Qualifications:

Any additional training or qualifications related to working with children with SEN

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a secondary school environment, supporting students with diverse learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
