Sandringham School is highly popular, outstanding and World Class school situated in the picturesque city of St Albans, conveniently located just 20 minutes by train from St Pancras.

We are looking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher of History to join our highly successful Humanities Faculty. It would be an advantage if you could be able to, or would be willing to teach A Level Politics, but it is not necessary. Our History results at GCSE and A level are exceptional, with 86% achieving grade 9-4 at GCSE and 84% achieving A*-B at A level. History is a subject which attracts very large student numbers at Key Stage 4 and 5 and it is one of the most popular subjects for students to pursue at university, with a notable number attaining entry to Oxbridge and other world class universities. The faculty comprises of five teachers, all of whom are history specialists. The faculty also oversees the Politics A-level, so there is an opportunity to teach this if you have experience (but it is not a necessity). This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to join a high performing school and gain significant experience to further enhance their career.
