Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire

Start date: Easter 2024

Salary: MPS/UPS: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum  


GSL Education’s Hull Branch is actively searching for a dynamic and qualified Religious Education Teacher in Hull for a thriving Secondary school, with the position to start at Easter 2024. As a Religious Education Teacher, you should be enthusiastic about teaching students a comprehensive curriculum in Religious Education and be committed to delivering high standard lessons and helping to raise attainment within the Humanities Department.
 
Religious Education Teacher Responsibilities:  

• Plan and deliver GCSE and A-Level Religious Education lessons that engage students, foster critical thinking, and promote understanding and respect for different beliefs and cultures.
• Engage with a proactive Religious Education Department that has a clear mission and guiding principles.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that respects the diverse religious and non-religious backgrounds of students.
• Track pupil progress and provide intervention sessions where appropriate. 
• Be an enthusiastic and creative educator in the classroom.
• Enhance the learning behaviours of the students.
