What you will do in your working day
- Assisting mechanics with all tasks on Motor Vehicle Repair & Service
- General cleanliness and maintenance of workshop
- Brakes
- Oil changes
- Tyres
- Exhausts etc
The training you will be getting
- Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (light vehicle) Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional Skills in maths and English if required
- Training carried out within the working environment, online portfolio, coach visits once a month
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- Possible progression to go on to become a MOT tester
