Job description
Our client is a major UK off grid gas supplier base in the Neath area. As a fulfilment agent you will play an active role in maintaining safety standards through the effective measuring and monitoring of transport compliance.
Previous transport compliance experience would be useful although full training and support will be provided. The applicant must, however, display and understanding of the Drivers and Vehicle Standards Agency rules and standards. The role involves giving support to the site management in achieving compliance obligations in terms of health and safety and transport legislation.
The work will include the use of software packages and spreadsheets to improve record keeping and measuring driver performance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills will be required to ensure drivers maintain compliance standards
The role is predominantly based around a Monday to Friday shift pattern and the hours will be based on a weekly alternating 6am to 2pm shift and a 9am to 5pm shift (with some flexibility required to cover holidays/absence).
The position is site based with little or no scope for homeworking. The successful candidate will become part of a high achieving and experienced team which is aiming at best practice standards rather than baseline compliance.
The salary will be based on skills and experience but will be between £25,000 and £28,500 per annum.
