Our client, a fantastic growing business based outside Blackpool, are looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their team on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone with good experience of the day to day transactional duties together with experience of assisting with Management Accounts. Ideally you will have studied AAT and have started CIMA/ACCA/ACA.

Reporting to the Finance Manager and some of the duties are as follows:

Role:

• Involvement in the preparation of monthly management accounts for several group companies.
• Full control over bank reconciliations across several group companies and minimizing reconciling items
• Preparation and posting of management accounts journals
• Monitoring of intercompany matrix and ensuring reconciles at each period end.
• Supporting the Finance Manager during both the period close and year close process.
• Identifying improvements in day-to-day processes.
• Preparation of several group company VAT returns.
• Any other tasks required by the Finance Manager.
