Job description
Trafford LCO is looking to recruit a motivated Registered Nurses to work in the School Health Services Immunisation Team across the borough. This is a permanent, part time role over 22.5 hours.
This posts presents an exciting opportunity to work within skill-mixed teams, supporting the School Nursing Service with the delivery of the School-Aged National Immunisation Programme.
The successful applicant will be based in one of our neighbourhoods within Trafford but will be required to work across all the Schools and bases in Trafford.
Post registration experience is essential together with knowledge of immunisation programmes relevant to children and young people. You must have good communication skills, the ability to work using own initiative and be computer literate and confident to work with a variety of digital health systems. You will be a car driver with access to a vehicle essential.
Using a child centred and public health approach to improving children’s health and tackling health inequalities, the role will contribute to raising the level of immunisation uptake for school aged children.
This post will work as a member of the School Health Service Immunisation Programme Function to deliver the National Immunisation Programme to all children across the City of Manchester.
