Job description
Interim Project Accountant required for a 12 month fixed term contract in York.
Working alongside the Group Financial Controller and Finance Team Members this role is required to improve procedures and controls within the finance department. In this newly crated role you will will lead and project manage a number of key projects in the business including:
- Review Process for essential functions within Finance
- Group Corporate structure and business guidance.
- Accounts receivable Processes -Billing, invoicing and collection
- Accounts Payable processes, including onboarding of supplier, and processing of invoices
- Review Procurement Process
- VAT compliance Review
- Assist with the Finance Support to recent acquisitions.
- Group Accounting Manual, Policies and Procedures
- Identification and Review of Manual process
- Expenditure Mandates
- Other Ad hoc tasks and duties as required.
