The Role:
Our client is looking to hire an Operations Director on a fixed term contract from 6 to 12 months.
In this role, you will be collaborating globally with colleagues from both the US and EU, playing a central role in defining and implementing the Company’s operational strategy. Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team, the Operations Director will be entrusted with the pivotal task of upholding operational excellence, maintaining adherence to regulatory standards, enhancing efficiency within the company's logistical and supply chain operations across various regions, maximizing working capital and providing leadership to a global team, across a market leading organisation.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive business production strategy.
2. Conducting thorough assessments of manufacturing environments, evaluating suitability for purpose while exploring outsourcing opportunities.
3. Enhancing product margins through optimisation of the supply chain.
4. Monitoring vendor parts rejects and supplier performance metrics, including on-time delivery and quality.
5. Review and if needed, improve systems to facilitate regular stock audits, both yearly and quarterly, to maintain accurate inventory records.
6. Optimising deployment planning, working closely with production, logistics, and customer success teams to ensure timely and seamless product delivery to site, ready for installation.
7. Identify opportunities across the global workspace to enhance employee satisfaction (eNPS).
Is this role right for you?
You will need to have previous experience working at an Operational level within a global team. Medical / Life Sciences experience is a benefit, but not essential.
£100,000-£120,000 depending on experience
23 days holiday + bank holidays
Fixed term contract from 6 – 12 months
