We are recruiting a Senior Rents Assistant at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 18.5 hours – (Week 1: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 7.4 hours – Week 2: Monday & Tuesday 7.4 hours)
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st December 2024, Part Time
Location: Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Housing Services.
We pay an attractive salary of £13,210.50 - £14,385 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Caerphilly County Borough Council have an opportunity for Senior Rents Officer to form part of our busy Housing Rents Team. Here the successful candidate will provide financial support for the team with responsibility for the administration of the direct debit payment system.
The right candidate will be organised and have an ability to efficiently prioritise their workload. They will be and effective communicator with experience of using Microsoft applications and a background in administration.
For the role, we ask that you have:
5 GCSEs grades A*–C, including English and Maths or equivalent. Or Level 2 qualification.
Working knowledge of local authority / RSL housing system.
Experience of working within a Housing Rents environment.
