Our client, as part of an ongoing process to get more out of ERP System and make more informed, data driven decisions are looking for someone to join their team in an IT Management role with a high focus on data. You will be the de-facto IT Manager and have 3 Helpdesk staff reporting into you, but due to the nature of the outsourced infrastructure setup, no detailed knowledge is required in terms of servers, etc. What is need is an appreciation of infrastructure, and an understanding of an Office 365 environment.

The key skills required for the role are: –

• Someone who can manipulate data in SQL
• Someone who understands a SAP B1 system or other SQL based ERP System
• Power BI skills or equivalent
• Other data driven toolsets would also be useful as would the ability to pick up new system quickly
• Project Management skills
• Stakeholder management and communication skills

The ideal candidate could come from an ERP Consultancy background and be looking to get rid of the travel. They could have gone up in a service desk environment and moved into data that way. They could be an IT Manager elsewhere who has had to wear many hats. If you have the SQL / Data skills, an element of team leading or management skills and be looking for a role where you will be instigating a lot of positive change within a business, this could be a great fit.

They will be doing a major upgrade to the SAP system over the next 12 months which this person will be instrumental in overseeing and they are committed to professional development so would be happy to put you through relevant courses, etc.

This role will be office based for the first 6 months and then go hybrid once you are bedded in. Send your CV in the first instance for more information.
