Days and hours: Monday to Friday | Monday to Wednesday 14:30 - 19:00, Thursday 14:30 to 21:00 and Friday 15:00 to 18:00 23 hours per week + additional babysitting when required
Ideal start date: ASAP
Location: SE15, Peckham
Salary offered (depending on experience): £22,902 - £24,700 gross per annum
Ages of the children: G10, G7
Driver: Not essential but parking is provided if needed
Job description:
This friendly family is seeking a dependable and caring after school nanny to join their household. The ideal candidate will not only provide attentive care for their children but will also assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain an organized home for a busy family. Responsibilities include doing the children’s laundry and putting away the kids' clothes, ensuring their room is left tidy at the end of the day (incorporating tidy-up time into their schedule), and cleaning up after meals with the children's assistance. In addition to housekeeping, regular nanny duties will involve school pickups, preparing snacks and dinners (potentially involving light grocery shopping on the way back from school), engaging in playful activities such as crafts and baking, supervising homework and reading sessions, organizing play dates, and transporting the children to and from local activities, such as a weekly drama class. They would like the nanny to do bedtime and bathtime one night per week. They are looking for a candidate who is not only responsible and safety-conscious but also creative and enthusiastic about engaging the children in fun and educational activities.
