The Role
We are looking for a Solution Architect , who will play a critical role in defining, designing, and implementing technology solutions that enhance the efficiency, productivity, and performance of various departments across Arsenal. This position will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation to identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements and ensure the successful implementation of solutions.

Your day-to-day
- Solution Design - work closely with various departments (e.g., venue, retail, partnerships, marketing etc.) to understand their specific needs and requirements. Design and develop solutions that address these needs and contribute to Arsenal’s overall commercial and technology strategy
- Technology Evaluation - evaluate and recommend technology platforms, tools, and systems that align with the Arsenal’s strategic objectives. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve internal systems
- Integration - develop integration strategies and plans to ensure that different systems within Arsenal work seamlessly together. Streamline data flows and communication between systems for enhanced efficiency
- Documentation - create detailed documentation for all system architectures, designs, and configurations. Ensure that all stakeholders have access to accurate and up-to-date information
- Security - implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems. Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity threats and ensure that all internal systems are safeguarded against potential risks
- Collaboration - foster collaboration and communication between various departments and 3rd party delivery teams to ensure that technology solutions meet the Arsenal’s objectives. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Continuous Improvement – regularly review and assess existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Proactively propose and implement changes to optimize internal operations
What we are looking for
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect - ideally within a sports or media organization
- IT Background - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- IT Expertise - strong understanding of IT systems, network infrastructure, databases, and software development
- Versatile and data driven - exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communicator - strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Technical Excellence - knowledge of cloud technologies, data analytics, and cybersecurity is a plus
