Position Information
Lindfield East Public School is situated on the leafy North Shore of Sydney. The school takes pride in maintaining it's beautiful grounds and various playgrounds. Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach (primary) library or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education (refer special notes below).
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build positive, collaborative and effective relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community.
Demonstrated ability to perform the role of teacher librarian including maintaining the day-to-day operations of a school library.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues to deliver explicit, innovative teaching and whole school programs, whilst promoting critical and creative thinking and a love of literature.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
Special Notes
If applicable engagement will be temporary until successful completion of the Teacher Librarian qualifications as recognised by the NSW Department of Education, which must be completed within 24 months.
