Associate/Senior Associate - Court of Protection - 4+ PQE
TSR Legal have recently been instructed on behalf of a well regarded legal 500 client based in Southampton who are currently looking to recruit a Solicitor or Legal Executive to work within the expanding court of protection team part of the larger Private Client department.
As a Solicitor or Legal Executive, you will be responsible for assisting the Court of Protection Managers with clients, many of whom have come to our client with brain injury cases. You will be responsible for dealing with preparing applications to the court of protection for the appointment of a deputy, appointment of a trustee, statutory wills, gifts and DOLs. As a Solicitor/Legal Executive you will be responding to telephone enquiries from clients and supportive daily financial administration, preparing annual deputyship reports, visiting clients in their home, care home and hospital settings as well as producing financial reports and budgets.
To be considered for this role, our client is requiring a candidate that has experience of dealing with Court of Protection matters within a Law firm as either a Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 4 years post qualification experience.
