Overview GM Coachwork is one of the UK’s largest vehicle conversion specialists, striving to design, manufacture and deliver accessible transport solutions. We are a privately funded large business that is currently experiencing an exciting period of growth after recently acquiring a new multi-million pound manufacturing facility and securing a large number of high value nationwide contracts. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, established business in South Devon. The individual will be responsible for the receipt, checking and storage of goods, as well as the dispatch, loading and unloading of goods. The Stores and Warehouse Operative will also be responsible for managing stock levels and providing support to other departments within the company. Day-to-day duties but not limited to Receive, check and store goods in accordance with company policies and procedures Inspect deliveries for damage and accuracy and report any discrepancies to the appropriate department Ensure a safe and secure working environment by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles Manage stock levels and ensure adequate stock is available and in good condition Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, and sack trucks Provide support to other departments within the company Maintain accurate records and documents Perform general housekeeping duties as required Essential skills and Experience Experience in a stores and warehouse environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Demonstrate the ability to produce high quality work Personal Circumstances Full UK/EU Driving Licence Eligible to work in the UK What we offer Typical working hours: 08:00 – 4:30pm Monday to Friday Your annual holiday entitlement in any holiday year is 28 days, inclusive of all public holiday entitlement. Following the completion of 5 years’ continuous service, holiday entitlement will increase by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 33 days inclusive of bank holidays.
