EXPERIENCED TRANSPORT PLANNER / LOGISTICS COORDINATOR REQUIRED TO SUPPORT A BUSY TRANSPORT FUNCTION WITHIN AN INDUSTRY LEADER
JOB TITLE: Transport Coordinator / Planner – Depot Operations
SALARY: £25-27,500 plus up to £2,000 bonus & benefits
LOCATION: Hatfield Area
HOURS: Flexible start available between around 7am and 9am Mon to Friday
PREVIOUS ROLES: You could have been the following: Transport Administrator / Traffic Dispatcher / Contract Administrator / Transport Clerk / Logistics Supervisor / Transport Planner / Transport Coordinator / Traffic Dispatcher / Traffic Controller / Transport Team Leader / Transport Supervisor / Depot Supervisor / Transport Manager
ROLE: Transport Coordinator / Planner – Depot Operations
Daily debrief of drivers
Liaising with the customer service department and with customers to resolve issues – including any hazards identified by drivers
Order processing and confirmation and running and clearing daily reports
Service and MOT’s, Tachos
Associated administration
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Transport Coordinator / Planner – Depot Operations
You will have experience as an administrator ideally in operational environment such as: Transport, Distribution, Warehousing, Logistics, Haulage, Courier, Multidrop, Waste Management, Skip Hire, Building Supplies, Aggregates, Quarrying, Timber, and Biomass.
You will possess excellent written and verbal communication and organisation skills, as well as logistics experience.
You will have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
