Speech and Language Therapy Assistant
Work pattern : 36 hours per week, Term time only + 5 training days (39 weeks)
Working hours : Monday - Friday (job share will be considered)
Salary information : Scale 5, £25,913 - £27,127 per annum + Special Schools Allowance; £1,255 (dependent upon qualification and experience)
Based at : Sunshine House School 3 days per week and 2 days school TBC (with provision to move around the other schools within the south of the Trust)
Required for April 2024 (date to be confirmed).
We are looking to appoint a Speech & Language Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated team!
You will primarily be based at Sunshine House School for 3 days and another school within the trust for the other 2 days, after 1 year, the 3 days at Sunshine House School will be reviewed for you to be placed at another school within the Southern hub.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and dedicated speech and language therapy team within the Eden Academy Trust. We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, flexible and are willing to fully participate in the life of a special school. A drive and determination to your own professional growth, including the learning of new skills is essential.
The ideal applicant will already be a successful classroom LSA / SaLT TA, supporting pupils with their individual communication strategies, both in and outside the classroom. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential to the role.
A driving license will be beneficial as the post involves travelling to different schools within the trust.
