Chief Inspector

Chief Inspector Role & Responsibilities - Lead the Quality Inspection department and ensure parts and products are checked promptly to support customer delivery requirements.
- Use precision measuring equipment such as CMMs to inspect machined parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
- Complete final inspection of completed products, including witness of performance tests and final documentation records.
- Work closely with Product Engineering to ensure correct inspection times are added to new jobs and provide feedback on existing jobs.
- Manage the Qualityinspection resource and allocate work in line with business requirements.
- Possess excellent personal skills to help motivate and drive a team and communicate with customers regularly.
- Create, maintain, and perform Risk Assessments and COSHH documentation for the Quality Control department.
- Ensure all individuals within the QC team are competent to undertake designated roles and monitor performance.
