Be part of our dynamic Board and help shape our ambitious journey ahead. We seek to appoint at least one board member with a proven track record in strategic asset management, including compliance, particularly around Health and Safety and experience in overseeing and delivering environmental and sustainability strategies.
About Us:
One Manchester plays a hugely important role in the social and economic landscape of Greater Manchester. We own and manage over 12,000 homes in central, south, and east Manchester. Our financial turnover exceeds £66m, with housing assets valued at over £387.5m. Notable investments were made last year in building safety. Looking ahead, we've earmarked around £250m for developing 2,400 new affordable homes by 2025/26. Our mission is to create sustainable, affordable, and secure properties for local residents. We're committed to improving the environmental efficiency of both new and existing homes through ongoing maintenance, technological upgrades, and energy-efficient enhancements.
Your Role:
As a Board Member, your role is vital in guiding our organisation towards its goals. Your unique expertise will enrich our mission of providing safe, decent, and affordable housing in Manchester.
You will have demonstrable knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
Whilst we are ideally seeking an experienced Non-Executive Director it is not essential and we provide an in-depth induction and are developing a buddying programme for all new Board Members.
