Our Team Leaders, work alongside our Key Player team, and are at the heart of how we deliver a fantastic service to our clients, ensuring that each client receives care from a Care Professional who is familiar to them. The Team Leader simultaneously manages and supports our Care professionals from their early days in the company and develops them as professional carers, mentoring, managing, developing.
Job Description
- Liaise with Schedulers to identify and manage Care pro schedules when required or for holiday / absence cover.
- Report to the Registered Care Manager.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with existing clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care.
- Plan and manage own workload and diary to meet business targets.
- Maintain accurate client and Caregiver records on Home Instead software and Care Management System.
- Conduct client and Caregiver introductions.
- Provide support to the Client management team by completing service Reviews and QAs.
- Provide support to Care Pro management team by completing support visits and supervisions.
- Any other duties as directed by your line manager.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Work on a rota basis.

Qualifications
- Passion for delivering the highest quality care to our clients and helping them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
- Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Must be confident to use care management technology including providing support and on-job training to Caregivers.
- Must understand the importance of confidentiality working within current legislation.
- Good working knowledge of IT systems with experience of Microsoft Office and virtual communication platforms with the aptitude to learn and adopt new technologies and software where appropriate.
- Must have full driving license and reliable vehicle as will be required to travel within the West Lancashire & Chorley areas.
- Be organised and flexible to meet the needs of the business.
