We are seeking a Junior Social Media Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of social media strategies across various platforms. You'll work closely with the Social Media Manager to create engaging content, monitor performance and assist in growing our online presence. .
Responsibilities
- Content creation: Collaborate with the team to develop creative and compelling social media content including posts, graphics, videos and stories.
- Scheduling and posting: Assist in scheduling and publishing content across multiple social media platforms according to content calendars.
- Monitoring and engagement: Monitor social media channels for comments, messages and mentions and engage with the audience in a timely and professional manner.
- Analytics: Help track and analyse the performance of social media campaigns and content using analytics tools to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Trends and research: Stay up-to-date with social media trends and industry best practices to suggest new ideas and strategies.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing regular reports summarising social media activity and key metrics.
- Ad campaigns: Support the creation and management of social media advertising campaigns including budget tracking and performance analysis.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- GCSE and A-Level qualifications (or equivalent).
- Strong passion for social media and a solid understanding of various platforms.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to contribute fresh ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and organisation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with graphic design/video tools (e.g. Canva) is a plus.
- Use of ChatGPT.
- Interest in the music/film industry.
- All training provided.

The Employer is: MUSIC VIDEO MARKETPLACE LTD
Salary: 16/17 £5.28, 18/20 £7.49, 21/22 £10.18, 23/24 £10.42 per hour.
Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
