About Our Client

We are hiring for a market leader in specialist business software to be based at the Stevenage offices, seeking a Software Sales Executive to grow their team and take their already successful brand to the next level. Candidates will ideally come from a business development background with a proven revenue generating track record of success is essential and the Managing Director is looking for someone used to hunting prospects, and converting new customers by giving demos (with a technical specialist) and closing deals.

Job Description

The Software Sales Executive role will involve business development to follow up leads and create new business opportunities through booking demos and reaching out to new and existing clients

Following up leads through collected data and marketing responses/enquiries will be provided, but you will also have to take the initiative hunting down new cold leads as well.

As this is a SAAS product, candidates must be apt at solution selling methods and value-proposition techniques.

On a day to day basis you will be contacting companies, scoping market opportunities, giving demos, closing subscriptions, growing accounts, managing your pipeline and adding strategic value into the business development team in terms of opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

• Candidates will ideally have closed and billed subscriptions or a proven track record in achieving targets with longevity, stability or progression shown on their CV.
• Strong lead generation skills
• Great communication skills with a high level of resilience and self motivation to overachieve against targets
• You must be tech savvy able to use both CRM systems and confident learning how to present virtual demos. For the right candidate it's a fantastic opportunity at brand new Stevenage area offices, with great commission on offer.
