Job description
Skillsearch is helping a collaborative company in the gaming industry recruit a Senior UX/UI Designer for their collaborative and inclusive team. This remote UX/UI opportunity comes with an attractive salary and benefits package for your expertise.
As a UI and UX Designer, you will collaborate with designers to implement responsive web designs that meet the project's specifications. You will also work with product managers, marketers, and developers to understand project goals and user requirements.
During your first few weeks in this UX Designer role, you can expect to take on some of the following:
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for all developed web pages and optimise web pages for maximum speed and scalability
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look
- Present and communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to stakeholders
To apply for this UX role, you will need a related Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of UI/UX design experience for digital products or services. You will also require:
- A portfolio of professional UI and UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Figma, Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles
- Experience with usability testing and A/B testing methodologies
