JOB OVERVIEW

Locum agency UK has Nurse Practitioner Job In Guildford to work  for GP surgery required.

Shift times are 8 am – 8 pm and you would not cover more than 14 shifts a month. Shifts are on a rota basis and you will be required to work 3 weekend days.

The client is looking for a reliable, experienced and also friendly Nurse Practitioner who are dedicated to their job.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and  also physical examinations
• Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
• Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
• Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
• Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counselling and also provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions

Required qualifications:

• Valid NMC Pin
• Independent Prescribing
• The recent experience of working in a Nurse Practitioner role
• Experience of working in Primary Care: GP surgery, Walk-in Centre, Urgent Care Centres etc.

Skills

• Must hold current license/registration to practice

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
• Ability to maintain highly confidential information

Experience

• One must Registered Nurse(RN)
• NP-focused graduate master’s or Doctoral Nursing Program
• Successfully Pass a National NP Board Certification Exam
