First Call Aviation are currently recruiting for a Multi-Modal Imports Executive to work near Heathrow Airport, Hounslow.
Shifts: 9am-5pm
Days of work: Monday to Friday
Salary: up to £27’000 per annum, dependant on experience
As a imports executive, you will be directly involved in the imported goods received into the country of destination. Your principle role is to arrange and manage the transportation cycle by air and sea, and ensuring all the necessary paperwork is complete and legally accepted by customs. This is to allow clearance and entry into the planned country.
Main Duties of a Multi-Modal Imports Executive:
Obtain charges and cargo details from airlines and shipping lines.
Submit customs clearances using ICE.
Monitoring any overdue payments.
Process all payments / raise necessary paperwork for accountants.
Ensure smooth and efficient transport
Negotiate terms and rates
Additional Requirements:
Participate in annual performance appraisal.
Work in accordance to all company policies.
Have detailed knowledge of the companies business plan and support business development.
Great communication skills.
Teamwork, organisation and planning skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
Numeracy and Computer literacy.
