About The Role
You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site. You will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.
This is a zero hour relief security guard role to cover both day shift and night shift on 4 sites in Manchester, guards will be required to cover sickness and holidays as well as cover for SSM, SSS and FOH
Your main responsibilities may also include: - Acting as a first line support to employees and visitors to site, providing a professional and friendly service.
- Fire, security and building systems monitoring.
- Service area barrier control and traffic management.
- Completing Searches on site to Include Person, Vehicle, and Lockers,
- Completing multiple site patrols both internal, and external
- Theft Prevention by monitoring items being removed from site.
To succeed in this role you will need the following :
- Experience of working within the Security Industry
- SIA licence is essential
- Ability to work on own initiative
- A professional demeanour and good written and verbal communication skills
