We are now looking for an HR Advisor to join us on a part-time basis for a fixed-term contract, from May 2024 until June 2025, working c22.5 hours per week (working pattern is open to discussion). This role will be hybrid working, with the requirement to be in the Exeter office on a weekly basis.

The Role

As an HR Advisor, you will provide comprehensive advice and guidance across our organisation to support the employee lifecycle and all HR processes.

Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, you will manage employee relations issues, support cyclical HR activity and ensure all HR policies, practices and procedures are aligned with our strategic agenda and best practice.

You will co-ordinate and manage the delivery of the full recruitment cycle and training/development activities across the business, continually seeking improvements to HR strategies, systems and practices.

Additionally, you will:

- Update and maintain the HR database
- Ensure personnel issues are dealt with in accordance with legal and industry best practice
- Monitor all employee records, providing regular reports to the senior management team

About You

To be considered as a HR Advisor, you will need:

- Experience of working in an HR generalist environment, with a strong emphasis on the full recruitment cycle and employee engagement
- Experience of dealing with employee relations cases
- Knowledge of UK Employment Law and the full range of HR policies and procedures

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to communicate with employees at all levels of the business. You will be IT-proficient and ideally working towards your full CIPD qualification.

The start date for this role is week commencing 20 May 2024 (working pattern to be discussed).
