Are you a dynamic Facilities Manager with a background in Manufacturing or engineering and a knack for fostering strong relationships? Pertemps are exclusively representing a talented a manufacturing business in North Birmingham. The Facilities Manager with a passion for Health & Safety who wants to put their mark on our client's business.
- £40,000 Salary
- Monday to Friday - 37 hours a week
- Some flexibility required with hours to meet the demands of the role.
- 28 days annual leave + bank holidays (3 to be used for Christmas shutdown)

Your key duties will be: - Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise facility performance and ensure operational efficiency within budget constraints.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless facility operations.
- Lead a team of dedicated operatives, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the facility management function.
- Constantly implementing new processes and streamlining practises in line with ISO Health & Safety regulations.
Personal specification: - Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within a similar industry.
- Track record of leading teams and successfully building relationships.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of facility systems and equipment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving results.
- Oversee the maintenance, operation, and improvement of our facilities.
- Candidates from and engineering or manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
