About The Role
Your main aim will be to supervise a team of cleaning staff, undertaking daily inspections of the site and ensuring staff are working productively and safely.
You will be working Monday to Sunday, on a 3-week rolling rota, on a permanent full-time basis, 06:00 to 22:00, 35 hours per week.
You will also:
- Work with customer representatives to address any specific requirements or concerns.
- Manage equipment, materials and stock levels
- Control costs to ensure services are delivered within agreed budget
- Supervise quality control procedures to ensure high standards are maintained
- Conduct team briefings to cascade information to staff
- Leading a team of cleaners at a prestigious customer site
- To effectively manage and monitor the assigned unit with budgetary restraints whilst conforming to the client's and OCS specification
- Ensure that all of your team are working safely and in line with all health and safety procedures. You must ensure that all adverse events and near misses are reported in accordance with the company procedure
- Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.
- Authorising any over time worked in agreement with the Patient Experience Assistant Manager or Client
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry
- Strong people skills
- A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a Healthcare environment desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
- BICS trained and BICS Assessor desirable but not essential
- The ability to be ale to communicate effectively in English
