WSG are currently recruiting a Commissioning Lead with a background in EC&I, the position will be based in London
Responsibilities
The Commissioning Manager is responsible for leading and delivering an effective and efficient approach to the commissioning of all services across the project. This involves the direction and management of pre-commissioning and commissioning personnel during the installation and commissioning phases of the project. The Commissioning Manager is also responsible for any deviations from budget man-hours which includes reviewing variances from budgeted expenditures and recommending/initiating action to bring them under control.
Deliverables
- To ensure compliance with project procedures and work instructions, guide notes and other information that forms part of the quality assurance, health and safety and environmental management systems.
- The selection, training and development of site commissioning teams to meet the current and anticipated needs of the project.
- Approval of draft and subsequent detail documentation, O & M manuals and operating procedures for use by the client.
- Assistance in the planning and distribution of the commissioning plan for mechanical, electrical, and process commissioning, detailing dates, timescales and resource requirements.
- Managing the takeover, manual, automatic and performance testing.
- Establish and maintain project commissioning standards and systems to optimise the management of asset commissioning activities.
- Compliance with all Health and Safety responsibilities commensurate with the role, as outlined in the Health and Safety policy.
