Job Title: Traffic Marshall

Location: Canterbury, United Kingdom

We are currently seeking a skilled and certified Traffic Marshall to join our client's team in Canterbury. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles on our client's construction sites, while also controlling site access and maintaining a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directing traffic on site to ensure smooth movement and safety of all vehicles.
• Manning gates and controlling access to the construction site.
• Banking the telehandler when operating in occupied zones, ensuring safe maneuvering.
• Assisting in maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
• Communicating effectively with team members and site visitors to ensure awareness of traffic and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Traffic Marshall ticket.
• CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of traffic management principles and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
