Maintenance Engineer
Coleshill
AM, PM and Nights, Rotating
Up to £45,000 Per Annum
SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work for our established manufacturing client. Shift as below:
Morning - 6am - 2pm Mon - Thurs
6am - 11.30 Fri
Afternoon - 2pm - 10pm Mon - Thurs
11am - 5pm Fri
Night - 10pm -6am - Mon - Thurs
5pm 10.30am fri
The role:
To predominantly provide breakdown support to EV/VB & Envision Areas whilst supporting maintenance across site, carry out improvements and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Core Duties:
-Supervises others on breakdown activities
-Trains others in diagnostic investigation
-Support training of Planned Maintenance tasks
-Defining key critical spares (budget control)
-Helping others understand / challenging safe systems of work
-Improvement projects to drive sustained solutions
-Root Cause Analysis to successfully implement Permanent Corrective Actions
-Liaise and support engineering / Projects with the buy off process and new part introduction, highlighting snagging and influencing improvement plans.
Requirements:
-Demonstration of core competence in a minimum of two disciplines, i.e. robotics, mechanical, electrical
-Train the Trainer
-Demonstrable knowledge of problem-solving methodology
-Demonstrable cost saving mentality
-Demonstratable continuous improvement mentality in line with tooling, equipment, and processes.
-Demonstrable ability to influence outside of maintenance environment.
-Siemens S7 qualification or equivalent
-Fanuc / ABB qualification or equivalent
-Demonstration of advanced level equipment knowledge, i.e., Zani
