Job description
This Leicester based firm would like to hear from experienced practice professionals who are now looking for a new challenge within a collaborative and engaging firm. The Audit & Accounts Senior will take the reins within the audit team and deliver exceptional accounts and advisory services. Working across a diverse portfolio of clients the Audit & Accounts Senior will want to develop their career.
Responsibilities: - Offer expert accounts and consultancy services for all aspects of client business compliance, reporting and planning.
- Prepare accounts and corporation on tax computations in line with UK laws and regulations.
- Lead audit engagements from planning to complex on stage, and work alongside internal management and clients to finalise engagements.
- Coordinate with, and provide support to, clients during audit and accounts engagements.
- Stay abreast of changes in UK audit, accounting and corporation tax compliance.
- Collaborate with our accounts, audit, and tax team members to align strategies with client business objectives.
What we are looking for:
- Should hold or be studying towards the ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Have a strong understanding of UK accounting and tax laws, and knowledge of audit compliance and procedures is essential.
- Have a strong ability to handle multiple client projects simultaneously and deliver results within given deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Lead on-site audit teams including supervision and delegation of work to more junior members of the team. Therefore strong leadership skills are essential.
- Integrity, attention to detail, and exceptional analytical skills are highly valued attributes for this position.
- Familiarity with CCH software and accounting systems would be beneficial, although not essential.
