About Avocet Court Care Home:

Situated in a residential nook in Ipswich, our 115-bedroom Avocet Court Care Home is surrounded by beautiful gardens. As one of the top care homes, we provide exceptional standards of care.

We’re proud to have an award-winning activities team and a newly refurbished café that is the heart of our home. We also have fantastic sustainability credentials, including solar panels and green initiatives to minimise our environmental impact.

You’ll help us create a warm atmosphere for our residents, their loved ones and our healthcare partners as we welcome them into our home. You’ll also be a vital part of the team behind the scenes; helping with shift planning, payroll, as well as a selection of admin and data tasks.

About the role:

This is a wide and varied role which reports to the Business Manager and the Home’s General Manager.

Shift Pattern:

8-hour shifts from 9 to 5, full-time hours available 37.5 hours per week.

Please note that every other weekend will be included in the rota as standard.

Home Location:
Monmouth Close, Ipswich, England, IP2 8RS.

About you

You will have excellent customer service, communication and IT skills, ideally Microsoft Office, together with an eye for detail.

You are organised, numerate and accurate, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

You are confident in handling personal and sensitive data and ensuring it is maintained in a confidential manner, at all times.

Previous administrative experience is desirable, as is knowledge of Finance and or HR procedures, however training will be provided for the successful candidate.
