Job description

Our NHS client seeks a motivational Band 6 Physiotherapist to join their fantastic rehabilitation team in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. They are offering full-time hours per week for an Ongoing period.

The post holder will work in an integrated multi-professional inpatient team that incorporates physiotherapists, occupational therapists, ward matrons, nurses, unregistered staff, therapy assistants, medical staff, and broader trust colleagues. The post holder will need to deliver quality care for a group of patients, specialising in rehabilitation and sub-acute care for patients stepping down from acute hospitals and patients stepping up from the community to avoid acute hospital admission in a physical health inpatient unit—Smartcard & current or recent SytmOne knowledge of SystmOne.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
• Completed the relevant degree/qualification in physiotherapy
• Previous NHS experience in a similar rehabilitation setting
• Strong interpersonal skills – able to establish a rapport with patients
• Good time management
• Interest in anatomy and physiology
• Genuine concern for the health and wellbeing of service users
• Full vaccination against COVID-19
